Obituary
Aaron V. Pitts, 58, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016.
Aaron was born in Blakely, GA on January 2, 1958 to Early B. and Easter Mae Turner Pitts. He graduated from Twin Lakes High School in West Palm Beach, FL in 1977. He worked over 37 years as a Custodian at Twin Lakes High School. Aaron was a longtime member of Union Missionary Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Deby Ann Pitts.
Survivors include his sisters, Shirley Ilene Pitts of CT and Floria Pitts; nieces and nephews, Monica Delricky Harris, Thomas Alexander Walker, I, Michael Etheredge, II and Easter Etheredge; and his special aunt and uncle, Helen Smith (Lum) of Ft. Pierce, FL; his aunt, Geraldine Folks of West Palm Beach, FL; as well as very special first cousins / brothers, Timothy Burkett, Gregory Pitts, and Bobby Thornton.
Visitation will be held 5-7pm Friday, August 26, 2016 at Peoples Funeral Home in Blakely, GA. Funeral Service will be held 10:00am Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Blakely, GA. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Thomas Walker, Michael Etheredge, II, Timothy Burkett, Gregory Pitts, Bobby Thornton and Harold Hamilton.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Ed Siebert.
