Ada Louise Rhodes McLellan, age 68, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 24, 2010. She was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola. She graduated with the class of 1959 from Pensacola High School and retired from Emerald Coast Utilities Authority. She was a resident of Azalea Trace and was very active in the Azalea Trace Sunday Morning Worship Service. Her mother, Audrey Rich preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter; Cindy Josey and son, John (Yvette) McLellan, Jr. and special companion, Bill Fade all of Pensacola. She will be remembered by her grandchildren; Brooks Sanderson of Oxford, MS, Greg McLellan, Kristen (Matt) Van Matre, Ashton Sanderson and Rebecca (Ryan Davis) McLellan as well as her great-granddaughter Madelynn Sanderson and her future great-grandson Matthew Van Matre all of Pensacola. She also is survived by her father, Harold Rich of Pensacola; siblings, Lenny (Pat) Rhodes of Pace, Carolyn (David) Walker, Wayne (Sherri) Rhodes, and Linda (Michael) Watts all of Pensacola; aunts, Linda Rhodes and Audrey Rhodes both of Pensacola; uncle Clarence Mabire of Pace and a host of cherished cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2010. Services will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel with Brother Dale Patterson of East Brent Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be grandsons; Brooks Sanderson, Greg McLellan, Matt Van Matre and Ryan Davis and nephews Jeremy Wears and Bradley Rhodes. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Sunday Morning Worship Service at Azalea Trace, 10100 HilIview Avenue, Pensacola, Florida 32514-5453.
