Adele McFay Powell, 71, of Pensacola, FL passed away peacefully Sunday, April 28, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Powell was born on August 12, 1941 in Bluffton, GA to James Boyd and Naomi (Gilley) McFay. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jackie W. Powell. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Ilse Powell; daughters, Sherri Powell Bouquin and Lisa Powell Cooper; sister Sylvia McFay Shawver. She was the loving grandmother to nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at11:00am Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Ft. Gaines, GA.
