Alana Shaw, 70, of Gulf Breeze, FL formerly of Lexington, MA, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

Alana was born on October 11, 1955, in Newton, MA to Charles Stuart Tuck and Henrietta Atwater Farrand Tuck-Miller. Alana moved to Gulf Breeze in 1987 to raise her four children. For the past 20 years Alana has worked at Gulf Breeze Hospital where she had the opportunity to meet and serve so many wonderful members of the community.

She is survived by her four children, Rusty Shaw (Kyla), James Shaw (Sabrina), Chris Shaw (Kira), and Kerrie Begley (Jack) all of Gulf Breeze, FL; 10 grandchildren; as well as her siblings, Henri Stone of Gardnerville, NV, Susan Hadden of Atlanta, GA, Jim Tuck (Marian) of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Pete Tuck (Cindy) of Durango, CO

Her legacy was founded in her values living on through her children and grandchildren, her love for music, an unshakable ethical foundation, a sense of right and wrong to guide our lives and an overwhelming pride and love for the United States of America and the Armed Forces. She was the mother who firmly believed and taught the Golden Rule, “Do to others as you would have them do to you” Luke 6:31.

A visitation will be held from 12:30pm until a memorial service begins at 1:00pm Friday, May 1, 2026, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL. A reception will follow at 3:00pm at the Shoreline Park South Pavilion, Gulf Breeze, FL.
