Jane Billhorn, 82, died peacefully at home on Thursday morning, October 8, 2015. She was born in West Monroe, LA on March 17, 1933, graduated from Ouachita Parish High School, attended Louisiana Tech University and married the love of her life, Fred, on June 12, 1953. Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Noble and Earl Gamble Coats and by brother, Joseph Noble Coats Jr. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Jane is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frederick Harrison Billhorn; sister, Virginia Coats Tinsley; son, Jay (Kris) Billhorn; daughter, GiGi (Steve) Peterson and son, Jeff (Patreese) Billhorn; grandchildren, Sarah Jane Billhorn, Harrison Billhorn, Amy Peterson and Jay Peterson. Visitation will be held beginning at 9:30am with Funeral services at 10:30am Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions made in Jane's memory to Salvation Army.
