Allen Gerard Taylor, age 56 of Pensacola moved on to his new life on Tuesday January 21, 2020 in Pensacola, FL.

Allen was born in Newark, NJ on November 9, 1963 to his loving mother, Peggie Taylor and father, Patrick H. Taylor, Sr. Allen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son who loved spending time with his family. He loved science fiction movies, playing on his PS4, baseball and football. Allen was a devoted Rams and Yankees fan. He was loved dearly and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his loving wife, Celestia Taylor; two sons, Allen Girard Taylor Jr. (Talia) and Jamal Taylor (Mary Grace); three brothers, Patrick H. Taylor Jr., Saladine Muhammad, and Steven Taylor; three sisters, Debbie Taylor, Pamela Taylor, and Timisha Hayes. He is preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Taylor. Allen also leaves to mourn four step-children, Kenya Mitchell, Christian, Reginald, and Keisha; nine grandchildren; as well as an Aunt Anna Scott Holman and a host of relatives and friends.

A service to honor the life of Allen Gerard Taylor will be held 6:00pm, Friday January 24, 2020 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Mr. Cedric Smith, Minister, officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 6:00pm prior to the service Friday.
