She spent ten years with her daughters living in California, but returned to Pensacola I 1964 after her husband, Gordon's death. A few years later she met and married Dr. Fred Guedry. With him, alone, or with family she began to travel the world. She went to Panama and opened the Canal locks. She enjoyed Costa Rica. She ballooned over the Alps.
Her keenness for travel was matched only by her intense desire to learn. She spent hours everyday exploring the mind-body connection quantum physics, Christian Spirituality and especially the mystical connection of quantum physics to Christian prayer. Hers were an inquisitive mind.
Love of family completed her life. Her siblings and their families were special to her She was close to both daughters, and her great delight was in her four grandchildren. She also loved her cat family of five.
