Alma Ann Brodt Schulze, age 82, born February 20, 1941, in Columbus, OH passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
Alma was a resident of Pensacola, FL, where she lived with her husband, Delbert Schulze. They had been married for forty-four years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother, James Brodt (Joan), of Spencer, WV; her five children, Cheryl Potter, of Monroe, OH, David Ellcessor (Julie), of Reynoldsburg, OH, James Ellcessor (Lisa), of Oxford, NC, Diencha Marsh (Dave), of Hilliard, OH, and Ericka Cady (Brad), of Lewis Center, OH; she is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Alma got to live her lifelong dream of living on a small Indiana farm surrounded by horses, dogs and cats in the 90's. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and mother, but she also had employment with the Ohio DMV and in Indiana with H.U.D. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom she adored and they her. Her entire life was built around her love of the people in her life.
A memorial celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Mike Mashburn, officiating. A committal service will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola.
