Obituary

Amelia Vera Evelyn Flannigan, 5, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023.

Amelia was born in Thibodaux, LA on Friday, March 30, 2018. She had just graduated VPK at Little Inspirations Learning Academy. She loved her school family so much and spoke about her teachers and classmates every day. She had just made some best friends at school and was so happy to celebrate her 5th birthday with them. She loved playing with her big brother and sister and all her cousins. She loved being around family, especially her Momma and Daddy. Amelia loved Princesses, and had a collection of princess dresses, babies, and barbies. She knew most Disney songs and loved to sing and dance. Amelia had a genuine happiness that just shined and made everyone around her happy. She was always smiling and laughing, and always had a hug for anyone. She loved making new friends everywhere she went. She loved going to the beach or river, anywhere she could play in water; she was an absolute water baby.

Proverbs 31:10 - She is far more precious than jewels.

Survivors include her parents, Joshua and Brittany Flannigan; brother, William Cone; sister, Penny Flannigan; grandmother, Renee Cone; grandfather, Chuck Cone; grandparents, Kevin and Nancy Flannigan; great-grandparents, Thomas Hutcherson and Farley (Doris) Cone; aunt and uncles: Michelle (Joel) Lewis, Britt J. Cone, and Brian Channel; as well as cousins, Annale Channel, Kayzen, Rowan, and Kaleah Lewis.

Visitation will be held 12:00pm until a Funeral Service to begin at 1:00pm Friday, June 23, 2023, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Harland Cason officiating. Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
