Andrew D. Morey, Jr., 75, of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, June 28, 2016.

Andrew was born in Portland, ME and grew up on Peaks Island and Portland. He was a very strong swimmer and at Portland High School he was on the State Championship Swim Team. Andrew worked at Nissans Bakery, S.D. Warren, and the Maine Gas Company. He moved to the Pensacola, FL and worked at Baptist Hospital. He was a proud Union member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, DC 80, Local 779 Mobile, AL and worked for many companies throughout the United States.

He fought a long and hard battle with cancer and is at peace now. He was a very kind and loving person and always made sure to take care of his family and that's what made him happy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew, Sr. & Madeline Morey; his sisters, Alice, Judy and Arlene; as well as his wife, Irene.

Andrew is survived by his sisters, Louise and Elizabeth; and a brother, Charles; his children, Cynthia, Nicholas, Anthony and Daniel; his grandson, Brandon Andrew and wife Daniele; great-grandchildren, Sailor and Gabriel; along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 2:00pm until a Memorial Service to begin at 3:00pm Friday, July 8, 2016 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.
