Angela Bruno Fishburn departed this life for her heavenly home with the Lord Jesus Christ whom she served all her life on Monday, December 18, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Pensacola, FL and a descendant of one of the oldest families in the Pensacola area, Don Francisco Moreno.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent & Angela (Scarritt) Bruno; husbands, Stephen Walton Fell (deceased, 1953) and Herbert F. Fishburn (deceased, 1991); her siblings, Judge Theo Bruno, Dr. V. Paul Bruno, Dan Bruno and Claire B. Stead; her son, Stephen Vincent Fell.

Mrs. Fishburn is survived by 4 of her 5 children, Jerry (MaryAnn) Fell, Peggy (Bill) White, Becky (Joel) Edmondson and Angela "Pookie" Fell; stepchildren, Bob (Gaye) Fishburn and Jim (Lea) Fishburn; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren & numerous nieces and nephews.

Angela was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church for the past 40 years. She served on the Parish Council there for many years and was instrumental in fund raising & creative remodeling of the Church.

Angela was one of the 1 ^st female bank officers in Pensacola. She started her banking career as a filing and safe deposit clerk and retired from Barnett Bank as Assistant Vice President. She was one of the first promoters & salesman for the new credit card program called Visa!

With a great love of dancing, Angela was a member of almost all of the Mardi Gras Krewes in Pensacola and was queen at one time or another of most of them! She had a love of beautiful things and was an avid collector of antiques. She maintained a beautiful home, loved the arts, adored music and was an active participant of the Opera and Symphony!

Angela enjoyed life to the fullest in her 97 years with many, many friends. She enjoyed traveling extensively all over the globe. She was a great cook & some of our favorites were Baked Snapper and Court Bouillion (we called Kubriah). Her big love however was playing bridge which she did for 60+ years and she was very good at it!

Angela loved her family, her kids and the grandkids especially the babies. She adored the babies!

Visitation will be held 5-7pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with rosary to be recited by Msgr. Michael Reed at 6:00pm.

Mass of Celebration of her Life will be held 10:00am Thursday, December 28, 2017 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Fr. Nicholas Schumm celebrant. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Steve Fell, Sean Fell, Scott Fell, Pier White, Pat White, Michael Fell, Chad Fell, Kevin Edmondson, Keith Edmondson, Paul Hoar, Cole Hoar & Graham Hoar.

The family would like to thank Dr. Amos Prevatt, Covenant Hospice & her many caregivers especially Joyce Watkins & Theresa Jordan for the loving care they gave our Mother!
