Angela "Angie" Dawn Tubb, age 50, of Pace FL, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, in Pensacola, FL. Angie was born on January 2, 1974, to Samuel L. Sommers, III and Sherlyn Skeen Sommers in Great Lakes Illinois.
Angie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, and aunt. Above all things she loved to spend her time surrounded by her family and friends. Angie graduated from Woodham High School and then went on to earn an AA from PJC. She was employed at Etheridge Property Management for the last fourteen years as the office Bookkeeper.
She loved being outdoors, gardening in her flowerbeds and spending time boating with her family. Angie loved her pets dearly and treated them like family. She adored taking family trips to the lake and was also a lover of the beach as well. Angie looked forward to her girls weekend getaway every year with family and friends. She was an avid FSU football fan who enjoyed going to their games with friends and family to cheer them on. Angie loved traveling to new places and seeing sights she had never seen before. She loved her country music as well as her 80's rock bands.
Angie loved her children fiercely and was a devoted mother, she absolutely loved watching her sons play baseball and watching her daughter Cheer and play volleyball. Angie also had a huge love for the Holiday season, especially Christmas, she loved to decorate and fill the house with love and festivities. She was a skilled Baker and really loved to host parties for her family and friends. She loved to care for her family, bring people together in love and friendship and to celebrate life each day. Everyone who knew her loved her, she will truly be missed by many.
Angie is preceded in death by her father, Samuel L. Sommers, III; and her grandparents, Samuel L. and Gertrude Sommers, II and David and Delores Skeen.
Those left to cherish her memory include, her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 27 years, Andrew N. Tubb; her two sons, Drew and Parker Tubb; a daughter, Ava Tubb; her mother, Sherlyn Skeen Sommers; her two sisters, Kim Coffey (James), and Nikki Diamond (Jorey); her father and mother-in-law, Eddy and Martha Tubb; her sister-in-law, Alysha LaPlant; several nieces and nephews, Sam Coffey, Ashley Coffey, Madelyn LaPlant, Hannah Diamond, Isabella LaPlant, Gabby LaPlant and Trey Diamond and Tristan Diamond; and a host of family and close friends.
A Celebration of Angie's Life will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the Pensacola Yacht Club, 1897 Cypress Street, Pensacola, FL 32502.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, FL
