Angelina "Lena" Cassimus Bohannon, 82, succumbed to terminal illness in the care of Covenant Hospice on Thursday, September 13, 2018 while holding hands with her granddaughter.

A Pensacola native and graduate of Pensacola High School, she attended cosmetology school before becoming an accomplished homemaker and caregiver for her family, who meant the world to her. Angelina loved good food, the cinema, animals, and card games. She was known for her spontaneity, her resolute support of the Democratic Party, and her resolve in the face of tragedy.

She is preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart, Richard "Bo" Bohannon; her son, Richard "Ricky" Bohannon, Jr.; her daughter, Kelly Bohannon; and her life-long friend, Mary Agnes Caro.

She is survived by her daughter, Regina Sisler and son-in-law, Mike; granddaughter, Emily Sisler; brother, Angelo Cassimus; and sisters, Ellen Jenkins and Regina Damron; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

By her request, no services will be held prior to her interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
