Anita Faye Fowler Bruno, 83, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016. Anita was born in Camden, AL and was raised and lived in Pensacola. While growing up, she attended local public schools and graduating from Pensacola High School in 1951. After graduation, she worked in Radiology Dept's as a Medical secretary for over 20 years. Upon marriage to Dr. Vincent Paul Bruno, she worked in his dental practice as office manager until his retirement in 2003.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Edward and Helen Mae West Fowler; an infant brother, Henry Fowler, Jr. and her husband of 29 years, Dr. Vincent Paul Bruno.
Anita is survived by her daughter, Dawn Michelle Cagle of Pensacola; grandson, Morgan Vincent Riley (Tabatha Williams) of Pensacola; great granddaughter, Stormie Riley of Pensacola; cousins, Dian C. Fowler Moore of Pensacola; step-children, Patricia Mikelson (Dr. Thomas) of North Adams, MA, Margaret LeBeau (Dr. Jacques) of Navarre, FL, Ann Ferretti (Dr. Thomas) of Pensacola, FL, Barbara delCastillo (Dr. Hector) of Houston, TX, V. Paul Bruno, Jr., Harry S. Bruno and Peter F. Bruno (Sue) all of Pensacola, FL.
Private services will be held with the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pensacola Humane Society, 5 N. "Q" St., Pensacola, FL 32505 or to Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, 19 N. Palafox St., Pensacola, FL 32502.
