Cora "Ann" Smith Ball, 81, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, in Georgetown, TX.

Ann possessed many outstanding qualities, as a young girl she contributed her talents and labor to a large family of 9 children. It was during these formative years that she developed a strong work ethic, courage, and determination to pursue a life's course that included a college education, marriage, international travel, mother to two beautiful children, Brenda and Stephen, and a very successful business career in Real Estate. Over the years, she enjoyed the growth and development of her 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Hannah, Tyler, Emily, and Cody. She believed in the goodness of others and offered support in every possible way while spreading the treasures of happiness and love to all who knew her.

She provided more than 60 years of strong love, companionship, and support to her family.

Ann grew up in rural Alabama as part of a family whose members and activities remained an important part of her life. She was active and adventurous throughout her life. In the early days she was an avid boater and water skier in the summer and snow skier during the winter. During the mid-years she focused on sailing and scuba diving and in the latter years she enjoyed travel about the country by RV and taking cruises too far off places. She achieved most of her life's goals and was happy and at peace with God in those final days.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; her children; grandchildren; as well as her siblings, Harold, Maxine, Jean, Joyce, Linda, and Patsy. She will always be loved and remembered and sadly missed.

Memorial Service will be held 11:00am Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, Asbury Place, 5725 N. 9th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504.

Donations can be made in Ann's name to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
