IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anne Katherine
Connor
July 28, 1945 – January 21, 2022
Anne Katherine Connor, 76, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022.
Anne was born on July 28, 1945, in Dearborn, MI to the late George and Jean Hole Heiden. She lived most of her adult life in Pensacola. While working fulltime raising her boys alone, she attended night classes and earned her master's degree in accounting. She worked for many years at Gulf Power, eventually retiring from there. She also worked part-time as an in-home personal caregiver for many people over the years. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her boys fishing or at the beach. She loved to travel...whether it was driving cross country in her truck or jet-setting around the globe visiting foreign lands. Her favorite place was Ireland. She loved to crochet and was an avid quilter. She created many award-winning quilts and had been involved with multiple quilting organizations over the years, including but not limited to being a past President of Pensacola Quilter's Guild and most recently a part of the Red Hens. She loved God and she loved her country. She loved treasure hunting and she loved a good bargain. Antiquing with her brother "Jimmy" was a favorite pastime. She had a personality bigger than life and a presence to match. She had beautiful blue eyes and her loud laughter was quite contagious. She could be described as strong, independent, opinionated, and stubborn. Anne was also a very private person. The few individuals allowed into her small circle know who they are and consider themselves blessed. Anne will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Emery Connor and Brandon Connor, as well as a brother, James Heiden.
Those left to cherish her memory include, a son, Berry Morris; a very special niece who was as close as she ever got to having a daughter of her own, Michelle Laws; a sister, Doris Fournier, of Camarillo, CA; a brother, Chris Heiden, of San Tan Valley, AZ; as well as numerous grandchildren also survive.
