Archie Milton Garlock, 95, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014. Arch was born and raised in Corning, NY. His Naval service brought him to Pensacola, where he met and married his wife of 73 years, Robbie Little. Arch and Robbie had 2 children, Sally Ann and David, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Arch and Robbie attended Gadsden St. UMC for many years. Arch had a passion for golf and once even scored his age. He was still hitting balls at the driving range at 94 years old. He was a square dance caller for 32 years. Arch loved music and always had a song ready for anyone who would listen. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by a son, David Alan Garlock of Lillian, AL. He is survived by his wife, Robbie Garlock of Pensacola; daughter, Sally Ann McIntyre of Pensacola; daughter-in-law, Cathy Garlock of Lillian, AL; granddaughters, Sandy Carroll of Pace, FL, Andrea Wallace of Pensacola, Patricia Hopkins of Cape Coral, FL and Jessica Cromwell of Pensacola; grandsons, James White of Pensacola, David Garlock of Lillian, AL and Joshua Garlock of Pensacola and 11 great grandchildren. A Memorial visitation will be held from 4-6pm Friday, August 22, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. A private committal service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Ellisor officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Pensacola, 5 N. "Q" St., Pensacola, FL 32505.
