Audrey Elizabeth Weekley Baldwin, 98, native and lifelong resident of Pensacola, FL passed away Monday, August 14, 2023.
Audrey was born on May 7, 1925, to Louis and Dessie Weekley. She was a lifelong, active member of Gadsden Street United Methodist Church. She worked as a Contracting Officer at NAS Pensacola. Audrey was a member of the Dogwood Garden Club, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #253, Daughters of the Nile, and was a Past Mighty Chosen One Zelica Cauldron. She was a volunteer for Sacred Heart Hospital's Children's Department for 35 years and a member of a Bunco Club for 71 years. Audrey helped to coordinate the Pray and Play program at Gadsen Street Methodist Church and provided three desserts at each meeting during the last chapter of her life. She was an avid traveler and enjoyed dancing. Audrey loved spending time with her family, especially for a fish fry.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Glen St. John; her second husband, Alex Baldwin; two sons, David and Larry Baldwin; as well as her siblings, Raymond Weekley, Kenneth Weekley (Jane), Barbara Carey (Chuck); brother-in-law, Joe Williams; and niece, Charlotte Carey.
Survivors include her sister, Elaine Williams; her stepdaughter, Sue McShane; her two step-grandchildren, Steven and Sheila Roncone (Erik); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Visitation will be held at 12:30pm with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:30pm Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Gadsden Street United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jack Hinnen will be officiating, and interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
Palbearers will be her nephews: Larry Carey, Mark Weekley, David, Jeff, Scott and Andy Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gadsden Street United Methodist Church, 901 E. Gadsden St., Pensacola, FL 32501.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her loving friend and caregiver, Connie Williams.
