IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Austin Lee
Wragg
October 23, 2004 – January 10, 2025
Austin Lee Wragg, age 20, of Pace/Pensacola, FL went home to be with Jesus on Friday, January 10th, 2025. Austin was born on October 23rd, 2004, in Pensacola, FL to Lisa Grandshaw-Wragg and Robert Wragg. He attended Liberty Church on Blue Angel Parkway in his younger years, and it was there he gave his heart to Jesus and on Easter Sunday April 16th, 2017 he was baptized, proclaiming his faith publicly in Jesus.
As a child he had the dreams of most children from an engineer to a firefighter like his dad, often fueled by getting to sneak into the fire department for overnight stays with dad and the other firefighters. Austin graduated from Pace High School in 2023 with many aspirations, he wanted to do it all. During and after high school he wanted to be a welder, a lineman, and a mechanic. He was a young man who loved to use his hands to do hard things from a very young age. His mind was brilliant, he had the gift of thinking outside of the box to get the job done, a problem solver and always succeeded in making thing work by doing it differently. When it came to his work, his passion was tinkering with all things "custom", custom bikes, cars and trucks. Before his passing, Austin was doing just that, tinkering with and altering vehicles to make them "cooler". He had a strong work ethic and always worked hard to accomplish anything he set his mind to. He never let anything hold him back from accomplishing what he wanted to do in life.
Austin was never afraid to try something new and had little to no fear of anything. In his younger years he played Soccer, baseball and football. In high school he played football (number 62), wrestled and began his passion for motocross racing (number 55). Austin loved the thrill of the racetrack, whether he was on it or not. He dreamed of having sponsors and racing professionally someday. He loved fast and loud bikes, cars and trucks and enjoyed hanging at all the car meets admiring the engines of different vehicles, dreaming of one day having a nicer "souped-up car" or "jacked up pickup truck".
Austin enjoyed drawing, doodling, taking pictures and putting pictures and slide shows to music. He was artistic from a young age, seeing things through a different lens. He had a keen eye and could draw anything he saw in his mind. He loved to dance, and he loved music, he even once took a hip-hop class. His music passion led him to learning to play guitar and the drums, but mostly it led him to shaking his butt, the kid had rhythm. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed spending time boating, fishing, the beach, and hunting.
His personality was funny, he was outgoing, positive, compassionate, encouraging, forgiving, and loving. He brought jokes and laughter to people, it just came naturally, just being his silly and bold self. His smile would lite up a room, he just had a way of making you smile and laugh, even when you didn't want to.
Austin always did random funny things, often shocking you with his sporadic behavior at times, but always leaving you laughing. He brought the jokes, laughter, joy and smiles to everyone he met. He would do anything for anyone and was born with boldness, courage, and unexplainable grit. He truly loved his family and friends with his whole heart.
While Austin is in Heaven with Jesus living beyond anything he could have ever imagined on this earth, his passing leaves a deep void in the lives of those who loved him the most.
Those left to cherish his memory include, his mother, Lisa Wragg; his father, Robert Wragg and step-mom Carla Wragg; his sister, Shelby Wragg; Step-brothers, Cole and Reese Porter; his grandparents, Lee and Colleen Wragg, Regina Davis and David Grandshaw; as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins.
