Barbara Verdelia "Dee" Rigby Enzor, 89, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 26, 2026. She was born July 18, 1937, in Century, FL, to William C. (Clint) Rigby and Agnes Byrd Rigby. She grew up in Century and graduated from Century High School. She then moved to Pensacola, FL, where she attended Pensacola Junior College and the University of West Florida and received a B.A. in Elementary Education and a Masters in Administration.

Dee worked at the Escambia County Health Department as an x-ray technician before becoming a school teacher in Escambia County, where she touched the lives of countless children for 24 years. She then became a realtor and joined her husband, Roger Enzor, in his Real Estate business where she was also active in the Pensacola Association of Realtors.

Being very civic minded, Dee served on a number of company boards, including the American Lung Association and the Waterfront Rescue Mission.

Dee was an active member of Summit Park Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She had a beautiful voice and loved to worship her Lord through the many gospel songs she sang.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Clint and Aggie Rigby of Century; husband, Roger Enzor of Pensacola; sisters, Maleaze Butler of Pensacola and Wanda Bevens of Colorado Springs; and a brother, Hoytte Rigby of Tallahassee.

Dee is survived by her sister, Jean Mayo of Pensacola; niece, Wanda Mayo of Pensacola; nephews, Randy Butler (Betty) of Pensacola, and David Mayo (Beverly) of Pensacola; and other great nieces and nephews, who will all miss her love of life and her sweet smiling face.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Vitas Hospice Staff; her caregiver, Ann Rice; and the compassionate staff at Summer Vista.

A visitation will be held from 10:00am until a Celebration of Life begins at 11:00am, Friday, October 2, 2026, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Dr. Ted Traylor officiating. Burial will be in Ray’s Chapel Cemetery in Bogia, FL, at 1:30pm.

Pallbearers will be her great-nephews, Craig Butler, David Forrester, and Michael Forrester.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Hospice.
