Obituary

Barbara Kinast, 76 of Lillian, AL died on Friday, March 26, 2021.

Mrs. Kinast was born on April 6, 1944 in Poland raised in Gailback, Germany and moved to the United States in 1965. She was a devoted mother that enjoyed life, laughter and spending time with family and friends. Most notably as a lifetime member of the Mardi Gras Krewe Pirates of Lost Treasure in Perdido Key, FL

She is preceded in death by her mother Emma Bosig and brothers Wolfgang Kinast and Gustav Kinast.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Renate Fries of Aschaffenburg, Germany; son, David Shea (Joan) of Andalusia, AL; son, Raymond Shea of Leesburg, FL; son, Michael Shea of Eustis, FL; daughter, Dana Nolette (Mark) of Taveries, FL; Micah Walters (Mary) of Perdido Key, FL; daughter, Renate Dawkins of Lillian, AL; daughter Carrie Young (Elliot) of Baton Rouge, LA; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Hub Stacey's at the Point.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Regency Hospice and Elizabeth Tumlin a dear friend and cargiver.
