She had two parrots, an African Grey, a real talker, and an Amazon and a Chihuahua dog named Lizzy that loved her dearly. Barbara was especially fond of camellias, being a past member of the camellia club and winning several novice competitions. She would walk among the many camellias in her yard for enjoyment. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and was loved so much by her Sunday school class. Barbara was a wonderful Christian role model.
