Barry Matthew Bellan, 54, of Pensacola, FL passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016.

Barry was born in Pensacola on June 5, 1961 and lived in Pensacola his entire life. He graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School in 1979 and received an AA degree from Pensacola Junior College.

Most of his career was spent in the Geo Technical Engineering field. He enjoyed watching movies and the Florida State Seminoles. He loved spending time with his beloved cats and any cat that caught his attention.

The most important time he spent was with his family, especially his parents, who he helped everyday with anything they needed.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Robert and Adelaide Bosso and Joseph and Nettie Bellan.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Robin Bellan; his sister, Denise Bertelsen and brother in law, Tom Bertelsen as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and some very special friends.

Visitation will be held 2-3pm, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Memorial services beginning at 3pm with Msgr. Stephen Bosso officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Barry's most trusted and loyal friends; Gene Moore, German Fernandez, Steve Leeper, Steven Smith, Ryan Bosso and Tom Bertelsen.
