Obituary

Beatrice "Bea" Baston, 97 of Loxley, AL and formerly of Pensacola, FL passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020.

Bea was one of 16 children born to Ernest and Eva (Mains) Brigham on August 1, 1922 in Cadosia, NY. She graduated high school in 1940 and attended college. She worked at Redd Pest Control as a Bookkeeper. When Bea resided in Pensacola she was a faithful member of East Hill Church of Christ where she was a Bible Class Teacher and in later years after moving to AL she attended the South Baldwin Church of Christ in Foley, AL. She enjoyed reading, watching Westerns on the Western Channel and was a fan of the Atlanta Braves. One of her greatest loves was her grandchildren, and as each great grandchild came along she was delighted to see them.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert T. Baston.

Bea is survived by her daughter, Joan Mattoon; son, Robert (Sandra) Baston; three grandchildren, James Mattoon, Elizabeth (William) Barrow and Stan (Katie) Baston; five great grandchildren.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery with Sam Ezell, Minister.
