Carrie Beatrice "Bea" Taylor, born October 7, 1928 to George Jordan and Addie Gardner Jordan in Waynesboro, MS, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Baptist Hospital following a brief illness.
She was a homemaker and lovingly took care of James for 66 years. Bea enjoyed embroidering and visiting with friends. Her favorite thing was talking. She will always be remembered for her stories of long ago, told in detail.
Bea is preceded in death by her parents, George and Addie Jordan; husband of 66 years, James R. Taylor; brothers, Walter Jordan (Maggie) and Hubert Jordan; brothers-in-law, J.L. Taylor (Earnestine) and Rudolph Taylor (Sybil) and a sisiter-in-law, Helen Work (Tommy).
Bea is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Williams; grandson, Andy Williams; step grandsons, Darwin Williams (Margaret) and Nick Williams (Samantha); step granddaughter, Dana Taylor (Mike); step great granddaughter, Adrianna Williams; step great grandsons, Brandon and Bradley Lindsey and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the funeral service begins at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial park.
"Aunt Bea" was loved by everyone who knew her and even those that didn't. She will always be fondly remembered and will be missed by all. Rest in peace Mom/Memaw/Aunt Bea. We know you are happy to be reunited with James for eternity.
