Benjamin F. Golson, Jr. "Lil Ben", age 58, a native of Pensacola passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2008, while volunteering his time rebuilding a house in Miss. Always full of fun and life, Ben enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending quality time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie F. Golson, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Helen M. Golson; a son, Christopher Dale Golson; a daughter, Dana Lynn Wilfong; son in law, Philip; and granddaughter, Nikki; a brother, Gary (Linda K.) Golson, sister, Brenda (John) Amargo; several nieces and nephews, and very special friends Velia Alarcon and Charles Douglas. Visitation will be held 6-8pm Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 10:00am Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ken Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be M.D. Clark, Chuck Helton, Charles Prhen, Terrell Beckham, Gerrell Beckham, and Josh Moloney. Honorary Pallbearer will be Charles Douglas and Larry Ford. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
