Bernard L. Gavin, Jr., 83 of Pensacola, FL passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

He was born on April 16, 1939, in Pensacola to Carmen (Gomillion) and Bernard L. Gavin, Sr. Bernard served his country in the Army and the Army Reserves. He loved to hunt and fish which he did all his life. He adored his grandchildren.

Bernard is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Jacqueline Yarbrough, and JoAnne Howe.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Schofield Gavin; son, Bernard Leon Gavin, III; daughter, Michelle Gavin Wilson (James); granddaughters, Brooke Wilson, and Lauren Wilson; nephew, Mike Yarbrough all of Pensacola.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held.
