Betty Marie Biebighauser Mize, 81, resident and native of Pensacola passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, July 6, 2010. BeBe just recently returned from a fabulous trip attending her first grandsons wedding in Maryland. Mrs. Mize was born in Pensacola on November 13, 1928, and graduated from Pensacola High School where she was a Varsity Cheerleader, and from Sacred Heart School of Nursing as a Registered/Industrial Nurse. Betty and Ray enjoyed a lengthy retirement traveling the country in their RV, exotic cruises, visits to Hawaii, along with visits to the family home on Innerarity Point, and riding horses in her earlier years. She was a longtime member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. Her parents Jacob James and Johanna Biebighauser; brother, Earnest and Jacob Jr.; husbands; William Earl Pulaski and Raymond Ferrell Mize preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons; William (Billy) Pulaski of Waimanalo, HI (Don Fasone), Patrick Pulaski (Paula) of Pensacola, grandchildren; Jonathan and Katie; daughters Nell Pulaski of Pensacola, grandchildren Matthew Ziglar (Brandi), Danielle Ziglar, Nathan and Jordan Thompson, Pamela Pulaski of Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Patti Joseph), sister-in-law Luverne Quimby of Flomaton, AL, great grandchildren Hunter Martin and Grant Hofberger, dear friend Edna Johnson and beloved dog Miss Dolly. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00pm Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be 10:00am Monday, July 12, 2010 at St. Luke United Methodist Church, with Rev. Ted Browne and Rev. Carolyn Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Johns Cemetery. Casual Attire requested. Active Pallbearers will be Patrick Johnson, James Martin, Britt Mead, Tommy LeDew, Jeff Nall and Mark Gillman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Council on Aging of West Florida, Inc. or St. Luke United Methodist Church.
