Betty Marie Davis Holman, 81, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Betty was born on October 21, 1930 in Pensacola. She graduated high school from Tate High in 1949. Betty was previously employed by Good Time Tours and Pioneer Foam Plastics. She was Pep of Peps Place Concessions at the Pensacola Interstate Fair. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Alton W. Holman; her father, Elmore Davis and mother, Claudia Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Reed (Philip); son, Darrell W. Holman; two grandchildren, Mandy Holman (fianc Matt) and Jacob K. Holman; a brother, Rev. Ronald E. Davis (Gladys) and special aunts, Cliffie Hanks and Carlie James along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5-7:30pm Friday, November 25, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ronald E. Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to give special thanks to Pat Ogletree and family; Dr. John F. Wade, III and his office staff and to Covenant Hospice especially Tina Butler and Stacy Deese.
