Betty W. Martinez, 88 of Pensacola, FL passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 19, 2020.

Betty was born in Flomaton, AL on August 31, 1932 to Lillian and Ollie White. She graduated from Pensacola High School in 1950. On May 1, 1951, she married Noel Martinez, and went on to raise her four daughters as she travelled the country living the Air Force life, volunteering with the Air Force Family Service Center. She went on to work for the Escambia County Supervisor of Elections for 20 years. She was a strong independent woman who influenced and inspired the generations that followed and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Libbey, Sue Marett (Rob), Carol Martinez and Jeanie Still (Jerry) as well as her 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 8:30am until the Funeral Service at 9:00am Friday, September 25, 2020 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. .A private graveside service for family only will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery.
