Betty L. Blocker Mims, 76, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026.

Betty was born on April 6, 1950. She was a lifelong resident of Pensacola and a graduate of Pensacola Technical High School, class of 1969. Betty enjoyed her home away from home in Nashville, TN with special friends and great music that made her heart smile. Thanks to each and all for support and love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James R. Blocker, Jr. and Glenda Blocker; brother, Jimmy Roy Blocker and husband, Ed Mims.

Betty is survived by her “much younger sister”, Lou Ann Graham; special niece, Julie Stuckey; very dear friend, Dale and her sweet little fuzzy, Lille Mae.

A graveside service will be held 2:00pm on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Crain Cemetery in Milton, FL with Dr. Jeremy Blocker officiating.
