Betty Jo Woolam passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023. The daughter of the late Loren Holly and Lavergne Rogers, she was born October 14, 1938 in Springville, Tennessee. She was a Registered Nurse, a graduate of Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Memphis, Tennessee class of 1959.

She touched the lives of many people through her career in the health care industry. She enjoyed traveling, entertaining, helping others in need and spending time with her family and friends.

Betty Jo is preceded in death by her loving husband, John E. Woolam.

She leaves behind a family she loved so much, her children, a daughter, Lacretia Bradshaw (Charles), a son, Scott Loller (Marie); step-children, Patricia Baumann and Scott Woolam; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Roberta Hill and Lennie Higgins, along with dear friends and other family members.

At Betty's request a graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 5, 2023, at Barrancas National Cemetery with Rev. Mike Mashburn, officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel at 10:00 AM to line up for procession to the cemetery.
