Betty Faye Word, 67, of Pensacola, FL passed away on April 29, 2014. Mrs. Word is preceded in death by her mother, Doris A. Harris; father, Elgin Harris and brother, Don Harris. Mrs. Word is survived by her brother, Lawrence Harris; sister, Annette Harris; son, Josh (Jackie) Word, Adam (Luciana) Word; daughter, Bridget Word Roberts; grandchildren, Ian Word, Drew Word, Ben Word, Oscar Word, Aiden Roberts and Isabelle Roberts. A visitation was held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 1:00-2:00 pm in her hometown of Jackson's Gap, AL at Jackson's Gap Baptist Church, with a graveside service that followed at Jackson's Gap Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Charles Horton officiating. Active pallbearers will be: Brad Hunter, Lance Stockdale and Matthew Harris. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Harris and Benny Sanchez.
