Obituary

Beverly Ann Burleson Mudge, 88, entered her Heavenly home on Saturday, November 29, 2025, with her family beside her.

Beverly was born on March 14, 1937, the daughter of Floyd and Margaret Burleson in Pensacola, FL. She graduated from Pensacola High School. She was an AT&T switchboard operator until she retired. On June 5, 1956, Beverly married Willard Scott Mudge, Jr. at St. Mark's Methodist Church in Pensacola, FL. Beverly and Scott had 2 sons they dearly loved, Keith and Gregg. Beverly enjoyed the outdoors. Her yard was beautiful with her many flowers. She loved watching the birds and squirrels from her porch. She would never turn down an adventure and loved road trips. She enjoyed scuba diving, boating, and the beach. She spent a lot of time in her cabin on Coldwater Creek. She made many trips in her RV with her husband, once traveling all the way to Canada in it. She loved her family and was an amazing cook, especially her gumbo, date balls, and Red Velvet cake. Family was important to her as well, she had many family reunions and dug deep into her ancestry. She loved cardinals, angels, Jesus, and in her final days, Snoopy.
