Billie Jane Steward Sindylek, 93, of Pensacola, FL., passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Billie Jane was born on August 19, 1928 in Pensacola, FL. She was retired from the Escambia County Sherriff's office as a 911 dispatcher. Billie Jane enjoyed relaxing with her family and watching history movies.

Mrs. Sindylek is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Charles Steward; son, Robert Sindylek and daughter, Cynthia Cassady.

She is survived by her sons, William Sindylek (Shirley) and Richard Sindylek; grandchildren, Damara Spruill (Chris), Zack Sindylek (Allie Adkinson), Rebecca McBride (Thomas), Beth Anne Sindylek, Justin Sindylek, Shaun Cassady, Jake Cassady, Kristen Cassady and Drew Holleman; great grandchildren, Madison Spruill, Briana Spruill, Tucker Spruill, Cayden McBride, Trenton McBride, Charlie Day Sindylek, Benjamin Sindylek, Grayson Sindylek and MaLeya Sindylek; great great grandson, Blaine Barlow and her beloved dog and cat, Kitty and Millie.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1:30 pm until the memorial service begins at 2:30 pm on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.

Everyone is invited to the Sindylek's home for a reception following the memorial service.
