Robert Gordon "Bob" Blalock, 89, of Pensacola, FL passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

Bob was born on April 17, 1936, in Henry County, Abbeville, AL, Hardwicksburg Community, to James W. and Alice Gordon Blalock. He graduated from Abbeville High School and then joined the US Air Force where he served his country proudly for almost 24 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. During his military career, Bob served in National Defense Logistics and was stationed in over 18 countries. While serving at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX he met the love of his life Norma Jean, and they traveled to Spain where they married. After his retirement from the US Air Force, Bob worked in civil service. Bob and Norma Jean served the Lord faithfully. After retirement, they travelled all over the United States. Bob was a member of the Lion's Club, the Masonic Lodge, and the Shriners. He volunteered for Hospice fundraising and gave to many charitable organizations. He also enjoyed playing golf and won many tournaments.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Norma Jean; as well as a brother, Jimmy Blalock.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Jean Merritt; nephew, Kerry Merritt (Lisa) and family of Lynn Haven, FL along with cousins in Alabama and Georgia.

Visitation will be held from 12:00noon until Funeral Service begins at 12:30pm Monday, September 8, 2025, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors.
