After leaving NASA, Bob joined the Chief of Naval Education & Training Command in De Kalb, MS supporting various teams developing US Navy flight simulators and maintenance procedures. He later moved to Pensacola, FL providing logistics support on the CNET Staff. Upon retirement from Government Service, Bob entered the field of residential real estate. A skilled artist, he was the founder, owner, and chief designer of Dragon Slayer Designs. Above all else, Bob enjoyed talking to anyone and everyone, and was keen to steer any conversation to his favorite topic, the Civil War.
