Robert "Bob" Ernest Davis, 96, died Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
A Pensacola native, Bob was born on June 19, 1928, to Ben L. and Flossie A. Davis. He grew up in East Pensacola Heights. In his younger years he was an active sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob spent most of his adult life as a successful business owner, Realtor, and a member of the local Escambia Masonic Lodge 15 for over 74 years. His friends and family will fondly remember his wit, his humor, and most of all his amazing memory. His storytelling was legendary. He will be missed.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Susan Bertram; and three brothers, Ben, Bill and Jack.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Korb Davis; two daughters, Scottie Jackson and Lynn Kohl; five grandchildren; one sister, Emma Jean Redding of Starke, FL; two brothers, Charlie and Tom Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, Friday, May 16, 2025, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. A Graveside Service will immediately follow at 11:30am at Bayview Memorial Park, with Masonic Rites.
His nephews will serve as active pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Escambia Masonic Lodge 15, 2920 Longleaf Dr., Pensacola, FL 32526, in Bob's memory.
