Bobby (Bob) Eugene Dye passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Bob was born on April 4, 1934 in Sidney, Ohio. Bob proudly served in the United States Navy as a submariner and retired in 1975. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and worked as an accountant with Gulf Power until he retired in 1991.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Ethel Dye; brother, William Lewis; and sister, Betty Flanagan.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rita; sons, Brad (Melissa) Dye and Mike (Kelli) Dye; grandchildren, Parker (Kara) Dye, Kyndall (Omar) Braumuller, Brendan Dye, Lindsay Dye and Braeden Dye.

Visitation will begin at 1:30pm until a Celebration of Life service at 3:00 pm Saturday, November 11, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pensacola. He will be laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola.
