Bobby Haynes, 79, of Pensacola, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday December 18, 2015 with family by her side. Born Bobby Jean Walden in Crestview, Bobby spent most of her life in Pensacola. Bobby was a true Aquarius, and she loved being in or on the water. If she wasn't behind the boat on skis, she was in the boat with a fishing pole in her hands or thinking about the next time she'd be fishing.

Bobby was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Haynes and her parents, Leona Singletary Walden Moon, Earl A. Moon and Robert Aubrey Walden and her brother, Donald S. Moon.

She is survived by her children, Cindy Armstrong (Jim) of Johns Creek, GA; Kim DuPree (Curtis) of Columbia, MD and Steve Haynes (April) of Pensacola. She is also survived by grandchildren, Brandon Armstrong, Kara Armstrong, Wes Armstrong and Harlan DuPree and her sister, Peggy Martin of Pensacola, and special friend Yasmeen Jackson of Missouri City, TX along with a host of other friends that were her extended family.

Bobby graduated from Pensacola High School and attended Pensacola Junior College. She was a legal secretary and court reporter, and she made a pretty amazing wedding cake. She was honored as one of the best cooks in Pensacola, and she demonstrated her skill by cooking for and feeding those she loved.

Visitation will be held at 10am on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel with Funeral services beginning at 11am.

Private interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Crestview.

Bobby would not want us to be somber; she would hope we would remember her with a smile and laughter. Please honor Bobby's spirit with bright clothing as we celebrate her life, and what a life it was! If you have photos to share with the family, please bring them.

Pallbearers will be David Moon, Brandon Armstrong, Wes Armstrong and Harlan DuPree.

Bobby loved animals and children, and she supported many charities dedicated to them, as well as veteran support organizations.

In lieu of flowers, please make a remembrance to a charity near to your heart or one you think Bobby would like.

The family would like to thank her dedicated caregivers Sonja Dale, Crystal Helms, Millie Bouchard, Betty Franzone and Nekia Chisholm. We would like to especially thank Helen Ruth Lee, Bobby's dear friend and former neighbor who was a tireless caregiver for Bobby and a great support to the family.
