Obituary

Psalm 62: 1-2 "My Soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him. He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken. "

It is with deepest sorrow, we announce that our beloved son, Brandon Jacob Harmon, "BJ", age 25 of Pensacola, Florida, went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 13 th , 2020 from injuries sustained in a boating accident.  Brandon was born December 8 th , 1994 in Atlanta, Ga., to Vernon and Charline Harmon.   He grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia where he enjoyed sports, fishing, friends, 12 Stone Church, and spending time in Titus with family.

Brandon graduated in 2013 from Millcreek High School in Hoschton, Ga.  He pursued his love for baseball during his college years starting at Valdosta State then Central Florida (Ocala, FL) and finished his last 2 years as an Argo at the University of West Florida in Pensacola.

He earned his college degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of West Florida.  His career began at Baptist Health Oncology.  At the time of his death, he was working at Apria Healthcare as a Territory Manager in Medical Equipment Sales in which he talked frequently about his 'Apria Team'.

Brandon (BJ) was loved and respected and we have lost a shining light in our lives.  He enjoyed life, loved adventure, the beach, his family, friends, baseball and his beloved dog, Gigi.  He will truly be missed but BJ will live on in our hearts, our memories and our laughter.  We find peace in knowing that Brandon accepted Christ into his life at an early age and He is in Heaven looking down on all of us with a smile.  He would say to us, 'I'm okay.  I'm doing well.  Be Happy".

Friends will be received at Gassett Funeral Home, 204 E Charles Ave. Wetumpka, Alabama on June 20 th beginning at 11 am.  The service will begin at 1pm with a graveside memorial immediately following at the Holman Cemetery in Titus, Alabama for family and close friends to Brandon.

Those who would like to give a gift to honor Brandon are asked to make a Memorial Contribution to Millcreek High School Baseball Team: Attn: Coach Doug Jones @ www.millcreekhawksbaseball.com or to the UWF Baseball: www.goargos.com/boosters & click "make a gift'.

The family would like to extend our appreciation for the love and support that you all have shown during this season in our life.  Brandon was our joy.   Rest in Peace my Sweet Brandon-our Sunshine.

Isaiah 40:31 :  "..but to those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like Eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
