Brenda Aerts, 57, of Denver, CO, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Pensacola, FL.

Born on September 20, 1968, in Denver, CO, to Isabell Santistevan Pannell and Brad Aerts, Brenda lived a life full of kindness, love, and joy. From a young age, she had a remarkable gift for bringing people together, filling every room with music and movement, and living authentically and boldly as her true self.

Nothing brought her greater serenity than palm trees, a cool ocean breeze, and soft sand beneath her feet.

With a passion for her community, Brenda devoted several years to helping people achieve their dream homes, earning respect not only for her dedication and work ethic but also for her warmth, humor, and generosity. Colleagues quickly became lifelong friends, and she left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working alongside her.

Outside of work, Brenda delighted in cruising in her Jeep with the top down, dancing, singing, and cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren. She never met a stranger, greeting everyone with warmth and an open heart.

Her greatest joy in life was by far her family, and she cherished them so much.

She is survived by her mother, Isabell Santistevan Pannell; her father, Brad Owen Aerts; her sisters, Laveda Padilla, Romana Aerts, and Shanae Aerts; her brother, Brad Samuel Jude Aerts; her son, Devin Martinez and his father, Dario Martinez; her grandchildren, Dominic Martinez, Damian Martinez, and Keairra Howell; as well as her 22 nieces and nephews and countless others who will forever remember her vibrant spirit and loving nature.

Brenda will be deeply missed, but the bright light that shined in her like a diamond will continue to inspire all who knew her.
