Obituary

Brenda B. Kay Fournier, 57, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 after an incredibly brave nearly 8 year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Meridian, Mississippi on July 6, 1953 and has lived in Pensacola with her family for the past 18 years. Her beauty, zest and character were a gift to all who met her. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker and caretaker. Her garden and kitchen provided joy and comfort to anyone in the warmth of her beautiful home. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ora Lee Mott and her father, Lonnie James Mott. Survivors include her husband, Captain Dean-o Fournier USN (Ret.) and children, Dean James Fournier and Emmalee Rebecca Fournier; her sister, Ada Rebecca Arrigo and many loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 at 12:00pm at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church with Reverend Monsignor Michael P. Mooney, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to www.ovariancancer.org/donate. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
