Brett Stephen Cobb, son of Jean Ward Cobb Askew and the late David Hall Cobb, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 19, 2011. He died in his sleep at home. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Cobb and Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Ward. Brett is survived by two daughters, Blair and Breigh Cobb and their mother, Laurie Mack Cobb Mosley; his mother, Jean; brother, D. Brandon Cobb; sisters, Tracy Nims and Ashely Rasmussen; brother, Collin Askew and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Brett was graduated from Washington High School, Pensacola and Palm Beach Atlantic College, West Palm Beach, Florida. An active member of First Baptist Church, Pensacola, Brett was also an avid reader, sportsman and sports fan. Visitation with the family will be 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at First Baptist Church, Pensacola with Dr. Barry Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Collin Askew, Ben and Stephen Cobb, David Hauck, Ashton Hayward, Jr. and Jim Ward. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
