Cailen Elsie Taylor Gentry, 12, was born on December 23, 1996 in Pensacola, FL and was called to Heaven on August 5, 2009, after battling complications due to leukemia. She is survived by her mother, Melissa Man Gentry; father, Jason Gentry; brother, Christian Gentry; grandparents, Allen Man, Deborah Man, Albert Gentry, and Patricia Gentry; uncles, Whitney Man, Stephen Gentry, Jeremy Gentry and Scott Gentry; all of Pensacola. She was also loved by an extended family of aunts, cousins and friends. Cailen was an angelic soul loved by all who knew her. Although her life was short, her wit, charm, and beautiful smile left a lasting impression. She adored her "Buddie" baby brother, Christian and was both daddy's little girl and mom's best friend. Cailen was a joy and inspiration to everyone who had the blessing of sharing in her life and her love. Visitation will be held 9-10am Monday, August 10, 2009 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Funeral Service to begin at 10:00am with Rev. Ron Carnley officiating. Burial will follow at Robert's Cemetery on Creighton Rd. Pallbearers will be Stephen Gentry, Whitney Man, Jeremy Gentry, Butch Gentry, Darin Akkerman and Bubba Porter. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to East Hill Baptist Church. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
