Calvin “Cal” Woodrow Wilson, a respected attorney and veteran, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, at the age of 96.

A graduate of Pensacola High School, Mr. Wilson proudly served his country in three branches of the United States military—the Army, Air Force, and Navy Reserve—before pursuing higher education. He attended Florida State University and later earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law. For more than fifty years, Mr. Wilson was a dedicated member of The Florida Bar, serving the Pensacola community. Beyond his legal career, he was a proud Freemason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lena and Orby; his brother, William; and his grandson, Wade.

He is survived by his brother, Walter; four children, Cal “Tex” (Sabra), Bill, Cari, and Chris; five grandchildren, J.J., Sam, Joe, Carly, and Blake; and great-grandson, Wesley.

The family will hold a private ceremony at Barrancas National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice or that acts of kindness be performed in his memory.
