Mary Candyce "Candy" Holden, 51, of Pensacola, FL passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 25, 2024.

Candy was born in Pensacola, FL on October 28, 1972, to Daniel Perry and Mary Alana Williams Holden. She attended Pensacola Christian and furthered her education throughout her life. She won many accolades and awards and was always on the dean's list. She excelled at learning. Candy got her love of business and accounting at the family fish market as a teenager. She went to work in the medical field and in service for the community. When she wasn't working, she loved cooking, shooting pool, bowling, music, and traveling. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Candy was passionate about unraveling the stories of her family through genealogy and family recipes. Though she may not have had children of her own, she helped raise many children and was Aunt to all her beloved nieces and nephews.

Candy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Allen C. Williams, Sr. and Mary E. Williams; as well as her mother, Mary Alana Williams Holden.

Survivors include her father, Daniel Perry Holden (Beverly); sister, Laura Melissa Holden-Nichols (Dalhton J. Nichols, Sr.); niece, Alanah Megan Holley; nephew, Aubrey Allen Ryan Holley; aunt and uncle, Allen C. "Bud" Williams, Jr. (Deenie); as well as cousins, Daniel Williams and Corbitt Williams.

Visitation will be held 10:00am until a Funeral Service begins at 11:00am Friday, November 8, 2024, at The Mission Anglican Church, 609 N. Alcaniz St., Pensacola, FL, with Deacon Allen C. "Bud" Williams, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Roberts Cemetery off Creighton Rd.

Active pallbearers will be Dalhton J. Nichols, Sr., Daniel Williams, Tyler Curtis, Austin Shepard, Dylan Shepard, and Tristan Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearer will be Aubrey A.R. Holley.
