Carol Sue Holifield, age 80, of Pensacola, was called home January 18, 2019. She was born in Century, FL on August 17, 1938 to the late Roy, Sr. and Ethel Williams. Carol was a member of the Pensacola High School class of 1956. She was an Interior Decorator by trade. Her true passion was cooking for her family and spending time making treasured memories with her children and grandchildren. Carol was a devout Christian and instilled in her family a strong faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents Roy Williams, Sr. and Ethel Pansie Sawyer Williams; siblings Mildred Boyd, Owen Williams, Alton Williams and Roy "Buddy" Williams, Jr..

Those left to cherish her memory are her children James A. Holifield, David W. Holifield, both of Pensacola, FL and Jeffrey L. (Teresa) Holifield of Evansville, IN; grandchildren Beth (Kevin) Goodman, Jennifer (Michael) Sheppard, Shaun Holifield, Eric (Natalie) Strickler, Dana (Dusty) Jourdan, Kaleigh (Ryan) Owens, Jacilynn Holifield, Kristin Holifield and Jeffrey "Cole" Holifield; eight great-grandchildren; siblings Carmie Coffield of Pensacola, FL, Darrell Williams of Macon, GA and Winfred (Juanita) Williams of Pensacola, FL; and father of her children James E. Holifield of Pensacola, FL.

Visitation will be from 10:00am, until the service begins at 11:00am, on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola FL 32504. Fr. Tom Koyickal as celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Holifield, Kevin Goodman, Ryan Owens, Tony Coffield, Greg Coffield and Barry Coffield. Honorary Pallbearer is Shaun Holifield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carol's name to the National Kidney Foundation at team.kidney.org/campaign/holifield. The family offers special thanks to the doctors and medical staff at Sacred Heart Hospital, The Haven of Our Lady of Peace, Select Specialty Hospital and especially her son David for her end of life care.
