Obituary

Carol Ann Leonard Rosenbleeth passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 4, 2013 in Pensacola, FL. She was born April 3, 1944 in Pensacola to Emery Stapleton Leonard and Miriam Myers Leonard and was a ninth generation resident of Pensacola. She attended Sacred Heart School and was a graduate of Catholic High School Class of 1962. She continued her education at Sacred Heart College at Cullman, AL and at Pensacola Junior College where she received her degree in nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Baptist Hospital for over 30 years before her retirement. She was a friend to all and was very involved in many social groups as an officer, court member, and as Queen. She loved decorating, sewing, traveling, and being "Coco" to her four grandchildren. Carol is survived by her husband of 46 years, Arnold Rosenbleeth; two daughters, Lesleyanne Jordan (Keith) of Tallahassee, FL and Stacey-Lynne Spence (Tracy) of Pensacola; two granddaughters, Madison Spence and Briley Jordan; and two grandsons, Adam Spence and Bryce Jordan. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Emery Leonard, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Barbara Leonard of Sarasota, FL and Nancy San Roman of Dallas, TX and many nieces and nephews she loved as her own. Honorary pallbearers are her nephews: Martin Cohn, Emery Leonard III, Adam Cohn, Bobby Rosenbleeth, Edward San Roman, Luke San Roman and Ben Van Horrick. Visitation will be held 2-4pm Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held 10:00am Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with Msgr. Michael Reed celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to Sertoma Charities of America, 1912 E. Meyer Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64132.
