Carol Elaine Rylee McDonald, 58, of Pace, FL passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 13, 2021.

Carol was born February 22, 1963 to Harry Gordon Rylee and Jannie D. Rylee in Perry County, AL, and grew up in Jay, FL. She graduated from Jay High School and attended Jefferson State Community College, completing her Bachelor of Nursing at University of West Florida. Carol worked as an RN at numerous hospitals and one of her favorite opportunities was working as a traveling nurse. Carol loved sports and played volleyball, basketball and softball throughout high school. She attended college on a volleyball scholarship.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery McDonald; father, Harry Gordon Rylee; sister, Susie Rylee; brother, Gary Rylee; and step-father, Guy Saggus.

Survivors include her mother, Jannie D. Saggus; brothers, Michael Richard Rylee, Lee Monette Rylee; stepdaughter Christy McDonald; in laws, Darrel and Rachel McDonald; brother in-law and sister in-law, Kenneth and Terry McDonald and many other relatives.

Visitation will be 1:00pm until the funeral service begins at 2:00pm Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Richard Bryant Rylee officiating. Burial to follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
